Acquisition of BioBridges Announced by The Adecco Group
BioBridges Joins Global Pharmaceutical Services Leader
BioBridges, a renowned Career Portfolio® Management company based outside Boston, has been acquired by the world's leading workforce solutions provider, expanding its reach and resources in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
Founded in 2005, BioBridges specializes in clinical development services for emerging and established pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. Its proprietary and scalable Career Portfolio® Management model has been successfully applied in collaborations with over 500 companies, serving a national client base in the U.S. [1]
This innovative approach allows BioBridges to provide clinical trial support tailored to the specific requirements of its clients’ programs. The company’s expertise spans multiple areas within clinical development, supporting drug and device development from early discovery through commercialization. [1][3]
The acquisition, which took place in 2017, positioned BioBridges as part of a diversified pharmaceutical and life sciences services platform focused on discovery, development, and commercialization solutions across the drug life cycle. Following the acquisition, BioBridges will come under the leadership of David Alexander, president of the parent company's North America Finance, Office, and Healthcare businesses. Jeff Souza, currently CEO of BioBridges, will take on the new role of Senior Vice President of Client Services. Cindy Steinberg, founding partner, will continue as a consultant to the company through the transition. Jason Falchuk, founding partner and president of BioBridges, will remain in his current role.
