Advancing Innovation: Wassim Hassanieh's Serial Brand Name Emphasizes the Role of Secure and Affordable Technology in Customized AI Solutions for Various Industries
In the world of Human Capital Management (HCM), one name stands out - Wassim Hassanieh. Over the past two decades, Hassanieh has made a significant impact in the industry, starting his tech journey with SAP in 2003.
Hassanieh, the mind behind Magnar Systems, aims to transform the platform from an HCM suite into a global people-ops platform over the next 3-5 years. This ambitious goal is a testament to Hassanieh's forward-thinking approach and his relentless pursuit of innovation.
The journey to this point began in 2008, when Hassanieh noticed the global shift of enterprise resource planning towards cloud technologies. This insight led him to launch Procons 4IT, the first company in the Middle East to deliver SAP solutions to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This, in turn, paved the way for his next startup, CloudTaktiks, in a bid to create the right cloud infrastructure for SAP SME clients.
CloudTaktiks has since gained traction, helping over 700 SAP clients in more than 37 countries run their ERP on cloud. The company's success is due, in part, to its focus on premium service quality and support while keeping costs attractive. This approach has enabled CloudTaktiks to secure agreements with top SAP Value-Added Resellers in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
In 2018, Hassanieh launched Magnar Systems, an HCM platform aimed at reducing complexity and cost. The focus of Magnar Systems will be on embedding artificial intelligence (AI) into every process across the system. This move is in line with Hassanieh's belief that AI should be introduced to organizations to solve problems, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Hassanieh advocates for AI to address real-world challenges at scale while ensuring strong governance and robust security. Magnar Systems has already been adopted by over 300 clients across 26 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Despite the success, Hassanieh faces challenges in attracting and retaining skilled professionals in the Middle East market. To overcome this, he has implemented solutions like offering free equity to key team members.
Looking ahead, Hassanieh believes in channel business as the fastest way to expand into different markets. He has started nice traction with partners in Latin America through its first office in Costa Rica. As he continues to evolve Magnar Systems, Hassanieh's vision is clear - to create a global people-ops platform that revolutionizes the way businesses manage their workforce.
