Algeria Expands Digital Skills Center Access, Empowering Youth
On September 27, 2025, a significant step towards digital empowerment was taken in Algeria. The Ministry of Digital Transition and Modernization of the Administration signed a cooperation agreement with the Youth and Sports Directorate of Sétif. The aim? To expand access to the country's first Skills Center and equip young people with comprehensive digital skills.
The signing ceremony, held at the Skills Center in Sétif, was attended by key figures including Djamel Zebdi and Abdelhakim Moussaoui, along with local officials. The Skills Center, a hub for innovation and youth empowerment, offers free training in cutting-edge fields such as AI, IoT, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
The initiative is part of Algeria's national digital transformation strategy. It aligns with the government's goal to foster a digitally skilled workforce. Algeria Telecom has also shown support, signing a framework partnership agreement with the Directorate of Youth and Sports (DJS) of Sétif.
The cooperation agreement signed on September 27, 2025, paves the way for expanded access to the Skills Center. It aims to provide young people with advanced digital skills, empowering them for the future and driving Algeria's digital transformation.
