Almo Pro AV undergoes rebranding as Exertis Almo takes on a new identity.

After the acquisition by Exertis in December 2021, Almo Professional A/V rebranded as Exertis Almo in Spring 2022. Now, the company is set to undergo another transformation, changing its name to Almo Pro AV as part of a strategic brand refresh. This rebranding initiative, already visible on the company's website, will be finalized next month. The official unveiling will take place at the company's pre-InfoComm party on June 10 in Orlando, FL.

Following a three-year tenure, the name change is not indicative of a restructure but rather a refresh, according to Dan Smith, EVP of Almo Pro AV. Speaking to SCN, Smith indicated that the change better encapsulates the company's identity, embodying clarity, focus, and service, ensuring the brand's relevance and adaptability to the needs of its partners and the marketplace. The primary aim is customer satisfaction by providing a straightforward brand experience.

The new name does not imply a shift in ownership. Smith elaborated that the rebrand was driven by research, analyzing market trends and partner preferences. The rebranding streamlines the company’s operations under Almo Corporation, capitalizing on the established identity their partners have trusted for 75 years.

Almo Pro AV's business strategy and service offerings remain unchanged. Smith emphasized that while the name changes, the company's leadership, people, and industry commitment remain constant. He also emphasized a stronger focus on Almo's Pro AV expertise, reinforcing the company's identity as a true AV specialist and dedicated industry partner.
