Before taking the helm at Alpine, Philippe Krief held various prestigious positions in the automotive industry. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées and began his career at Michelin. He later joined the Fiat Group and worked for the Alfa Romeo brand. His industry experience continued at Ferrari, where he served as the Vehicle Department Director.
Prior to his new role, Philippe Krief was the CEO of Alpine and led the technical division for the Renault Group, as well as the EV subsidiary Ampere. He was also the VP of Engineering and Product Performance for the Alpine brand, a position he assumed on February 21, 2023.
Luca de Meo expressed his gratitude towards Laurent, who had led Alpine for two years, for establishing a clear and ambitious strategy for the brand. Under Laurent's leadership, Alpine has been positioned for long-term goals, and the brand is now preparing to enter a new phase of development.
