Anticipated Launch of Google Pixel 10 Series Next Week: Expected Indian Pricing and Features Revealed
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Google prepares to unveil its latest offering, the Pixel 10 series, on August 20, 2025. Here's a breakdown of what we know so far about this upcoming lineup.
Displays
The Pixel 10 will sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, while the Pixel 10 Pro will boast a QHD+ panel. The Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will retain their previous generation's screen sizes at 6.8 inches and 8 inches, respectively, with the foldable model also featuring a slightly larger 6.4-inch cover screen.
Processor
Powering these devices will be Google's new Tensor G5 chip, manufactured by TSMC.
RAM & Storage
The base Pixel 10 model will come with 12GB RAM and 128GB storage, with Pro models starting at 16GB RAM. Storage options will range from 256GB up to 1TB depending on the model.
Battery
Battery capacities vary across the series. The Pixel 10 will boast a 4,970mAh battery, the Pixel 10 Pro a 4,870mAh battery, the Pixel 10 Pro XL a 5,200mAh battery (the largest in Pixel history), and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold a 5,015mAh battery.
Camera
The Pro models will feature a 50MP main sensor, an ultrawide 48MP sensor with autofocus for macro shots, and a telephoto lens capable of up to "100x Pro Res Zoom". The Pixel 10 Pro XL is rumoured to have a 50MP+48MP+48MP camera setup. Video recording will support 8K at 24/30fps.
Software
The Pixel 10 series will ship with Android 16 and include a new Desktop Mode.
Charging
Qi2 wireless magnetic charging will be introduced on the Pixel 10 Pro XL, with fast charging similar to the previous generation.
Price Range (US market)
The Pixel 10 will start at $799 (128GB), the Pixel 10 Pro at $999 (256GB), the Pixel 10 Pro XL at $1,199 (256GB, no 128GB variant), and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at $1,799 (256GB).
India Pricing and Availability
The India pricing for the Pixel 10 series will be revealed on August 21. The top-end Pixel 10 Pro XL could be priced at around Rs 1,25,000.
Additional Information
