Introducing AppleCare One: A New Device Protection Plan for US Customers
Apple has unveiled a new device coverage plan called AppleCare One, offering protection for a variety of Apple hardware. This plan is now available for iPhone, iPad, headphones, HomePod, Mac, Apple Watch, and TV hardware.
What's Included in AppleCare One?
For just $19.99 per month, AppleCare One provides coverage for up to three Apple devices. Additional devices can be added for $5.99 per month each. The plan includes all the benefits of AppleCare+, such as unlimited accidental damage repairs, 24/7 priority Apple expert support, Apple-certified repairs, and battery service.
One of the standout features of AppleCare One is the extended theft and loss coverage. Previously limited to iPhones, this protection is now extended to include iPads and Apple Watches. Claims for theft or loss require "Find My" to be enabled on the device at the time of loss.

Eligibility and Sign-up
To be eligible, devices must be Apple products eligible for AppleCare coverage. They can be up to 4 years old if they are in good working condition. Theft and loss claims require the "Find My" feature to be enabled at the time of the incident and maintained during the claims process.
Customers can sign up directly on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, or at an Apple Store (currently available in the U.S.). If an AppleCare One plan includes an iPad, Apple will also honor coverage for the bundled cable, charger, and "one Apple Pencil and one Apple-branded iPad keyboard."
Additional Information
AppleCare One combines service contract coverage for hardware and technical issues with an insurance policy for theft, loss, and power surge (theft and loss coverage can be purchased separately if desired). Customers may save money using AppleCare One rather than purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans for each device, with savings of up to $11 monthly when covering iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch together.
The plan allows buyers to insure up to three devices for a flat starting fee of $19.99 per month. Repair and servicing for AppleCare One are available through authorized Apple service outlets worldwide.
AppleCare One offers unlimited repairs and replacements for accidental and liquid damage, battery replacement without extra fee, and priority access to round-the-clock customer care. The plan allows users to add more devices to the protection plan at a $5.99 fee for each extra device.
The new AppleCare One service allows customers to insure older devices and avail the full set of Apple Care+ benefits. Apple will offer a refund for the remaining spell on the outstanding term when switching the coverage plans.
