Green-BIM Awards Announcement Continues at BIM-TAGE Deutschland (BTD), Accepting Submissions from German Firms, Bodies, and Institutions for Sustainable Building Efforts. Deadline for Applications is July 15, 2022. German Sustainable Building Council serves as honorary patron for this event.

Green-BIM Awards Return for 2022, Celebrating Sustainable Building Innovations

The Green-BIM Awards, a prestigious event recognising sustainable building projects and innovations, will be held once again this year as part of the BIM-TAGE Deutschland (BTD) event. Organised by the German Sustainable Building Council, the awards are open for submissions until July 15, 2022.

Interested parties can participate by submitting their projects or innovations in one or a combination of the following categories: Realized projects in new construction or renovation, Innovative tools and products, Research, development, and new concepts. Each submission requires a registration fee of 490 euros.

The BIM-TAGE Deutschland event, taking place from September 16 to September 20, 2022, at the Allianz Forum in Berlin, will feature the Green-BIM Awards. The event will also include online voting for the awards on the first day, September 16, and the honoring of nominees and winners at the BIM-Gala on September 19 at the Allianz Forum at the Brandenburg Gate.

Day 2 of BIM-TAGE Deutschland offers the BIM Annual Congress and the BIM Gala Night. The jury for the Green-BIM Awards consists of eleven esteemed members, including Annelie Casper, Thomas Kirmayr, Matthias Mosig, Carl von Stechow, and Martin Gräber.

Eligible entities for submissions are companies, administrations, and institutions based or operating in Germany. The submissions will be evaluated based on approaches such as waste reduction, material reduction, reuse, integration of digital methods, degree of innovation, scalability, pioneering character, and CO2 savings.
