Aviation-oriented design ethos is extended by Bell & Ross with the release of the BR-X3 model.

Introducing the BR-X3: A Radical Redesign of Bell & Ross' Flagship Aviation Watch

Bell & Ross has unveiled the BR-X3, a complete structural reimagining of their flagship aviation watch. This new collection, available now, showcases a radical three-tier sandwich case construction that sets it apart from its predecessors.

The BR-X3 collection retains the timepiece's signature features, including the crown guard, sapphire crystals front and back, and 100m water resistance. Both editions - the Blue Steel and the Black Titanium - embody these elements, offering a fresh take on the iconic design.

The BR-X3 collection utilizes Bell & Ross's BR-CAL.323 manufacture movement, developed in partnership with Kenissi. This COSC-certified automatic movement delivers a substantial 70-hour power reserve, ensuring uninterrupted functionality. The movement is housed in a cylindrical barrel sandwiched between decorative pillars, a design choice that adds to the watch's unique aesthetic.

The dial's rhodium-plated or micro-blasted metallic frame houses the signature X-shaped layout, a design reminiscent of a spacecraft instrument panel and high-end racing components. The base of the dial is either sunray blue or matte black varnished, providing a striking contrast to the dial's elements.

The dial construction features a three-plate system, with the elongated date window at 3 o'clock and power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock logically organized for easy readability. Both the date window and power reserve indicator are framed by generous applications of green-glowing Super-LumiNova X1, ensuring legibility in low-light conditions.

The Blue Steel edition is made of satin-finished stainless steel and anodized aluminum blue accents, while the Black Titanium variant is crafted from micro-blasted Grade 2 titanium with DLC-coated crown guards. The Black Titanium variant's stealthy appearance offers a stark contrast to the Blue Steel edition's vibrant hues.

The BR-X3 collection does not have a limited edition status, making it accessible to a wider audience. The Blue Steel edition is priced at $7,200, and the Black Titanium variant is priced at $8,300. The BR-X3 is available now through Bell & Ross retailers and bellross.com.

In conclusion, the BR-X3 is more than just a redesign; it's a testament to Bell & Ross' commitment to innovation and their dedication to pushing the boundaries of watchmaking. Whether you prefer the sleek, stealthy Black Titanium variant or the vibrant Blue Steel edition, the BR-X3 offers a unique blend of style, functionality, and performance that is sure to appeal to watch enthusiasts and collectors alike.
