Bentley Unveils 2018 Continental GT First Edition: Power, Luxury Redefined
Bentley has unveiled the 2018 Continental GT First Edition, a luxurious and powerful new addition to its lineup. This special model comes with an array of exclusive features and enhanced performance.
The First Edition boasts a new eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and standard four-wheel drive for improved handling and efficiency. It sits on 22-inch alloy wheels and includes four exclusive veneer choices, mood lighting, and illuminated sills to enhance its elegant interior.
Powering the GT First Edition is a heavily revised 6.0-litre TSI W12 engine, developed in-house by Bentley. This engine delivers an impressive 626bhp and 664lb/ft of torque, making it more powerful than its predecessors. The car also benefits from a new platform, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride.
Bentley has not revealed the price of the Continental GT First Edition, but it is expected to be around £200,000. Despite the high price tag, the car comes with an extensive list of standard equipment, including City Specification, Touring Specification, Park Assist, Pedestrian Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and a 650W audio system. Customers can also upgrade to a B&O or NAIM sound system for an even more immersive listening experience.
The design team has 'Painstakingly Curated' the First Edition to deliver the perfect car. It features the Mulliner Driving Specification as standard, ensuring a refined and luxurious driving experience.
