BMW Unveils New 5 Series and More at B&K
In an exciting event at B&K on Buxtehuder Straße, BMW has introduced its latest offerings to the automotive world. Among the highlights is the new 5 Series, the eighth generation of BMW's upper-midrange series.
The new 5 Series, presented by a team led by David Breuer, promises to be a game-changer. It is available in four gasoline engine variations, as a diesel, and as a plug-in hybrid from spring 2024. The fully electric version of the new 5 Series, the BMW i5 eDrive40, will also be available from next year, with manufacturing done by BMW itself.
The BMW i5 eDrive40 is a significant step forward in electric vehicle technology. It boasts a battery capacity of approximately 81.2 kWh net and a range between just over 480 and slightly over 580 kilometers. The base version of the plug-in hybrid 5 Series accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in six seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 193 km/h.
Visitors to the showroom can view the new 5 Series and take a test drive, should they be interested. The new vehicle also offers autonomous driving capabilities in certain situations, making for a smooth and comfortable ride.
In addition to the new 5 Series, BMW also presented the new X1 at the event.
Meanwhile, Horwin has introduced a new electric scooter, the B&K Electric Scooter. With its eco-friendly design and sleek look, it's sure to be a hit with environmentally-conscious commuters.
