BMW Expands X6 SUV Practicality with Five-Seat Option in April 2023
BMW is expanding the practicality of its X6 SUV, initially launched as a two-seater, by introducing a five-seater option from April 2023. This move is set to widen the appeal of the successful model.
The BMW X6, first introduced as a niche car with limited seating, has surpassed original sales estimates, proving its popularity. Now, the German automaker is set to offer a five-seater option across the range, excluding the ActiveHybrid X6 model.
Looking ahead, BMW is also planning to launch a smaller coupe version of the X3, dubbed the X4. This new model will offer both four and five-seater configurations, further diversifying the brand's SUV lineup.
The decision to equip the BMW X6 with a full rear bench, transforming it into a five-seater, is likely to attract more buyers, making the SUV even more successful. Meanwhile, the upcoming BMW X4, with its four and five-seater options, is set to cater to a wider range of customers, expanding the appeal of the brand's coupe SUV segment.
