Cobalt Digital will appear at the International Sign Expo (ISE) for the first time.

Cobalt Digital, a leading provider of signal processing solutions, will be exhibiting at Booth 5F600 at ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) from February 4 to 7 in Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via. The company will showcase a cross section of its products, including the COBALT SAPPHIRE ST 2110 Mini Converters, COBALT WAVE routers, and the COBALT ARIA AUD-MON audio monitor.

The COBALT SAPPHIRE ST 2110 Mini Converters are compact hardware devices designed to enable seamless IP media transport compliant with SMPTE ST 2110 standards in professional AV and broadcast control center environments. These mini converters support live video production workflows, facilitating conversion between traditional SDI and IP signals, enabling interoperability with ST 2110 networks, and providing tools for high-quality encoding, decoding, and signal conversion.

In Pro AV and broadcast control centers, these mini converters are used to modernize and simplify media infrastructure by allowing flexible routing, signal conversion, and integration of IP video streams alongside legacy SDI signals. This enables broadcasters and AV professionals to take advantage of IP-based distribution's scalability and cost-efficiency without abandoning established workflows or equipment.

Cobalt Digital’s COBALT WAVE routers offer web-based control, full setup, salvos, monitoring, and preset management. The routers feature a single 10/100/1000 Ethernet port for IP-based control and offer RP-168 switching support.

The products displayed by Cobalt Digital, such as the UltraBlue IP-MV multiviewer and COBALT WAVE routers, feature the latest technology, including support for ST 2110. The UltraBlue IP-MV multiviewer supports receiving audio/video content over IP across various protocols and formats and offers an intuitive web interface. It is designed to grow with a customer's needs and features mosaic configurations that are flexible with arbitrary sizes and orientations on multiple HDMI screens. PIPs can be arbitrarily placed and rotated in the UltraBlue IP-MV multiviewer, and it is IPMX compliant.

Cobalt Digital will also highlight its ARIA audio products at ISE, including the COBALT ARIA AUD-MON audio monitor. The company is a founding partner in the openGear initiative and will demonstrate multi-format routers/controllers and several units of its SAPPHIRE converter family of IPMX-capable standalone mini-converters at Booth 5F600.

Cobalt Digital's solutions address a wide range of pro AV applications and are designed to meet the demands of broadcast control centers and Pro AV installations requiring reliable, low-latency media conversion. By showcasing these products at ISE 2023, Cobalt Digital aims to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and its ability to help customers transition to IP workflows while preserving investment in existing hardware.
