Recently, I barely touched my poker chips, and when I did, well, it wasn't exactly the luck of the draw.
Being a tech-head, I had high hopes for the Nauryz holidays – on deck, heavy poker sessions. Bright and early, my trusty, over-a-decade-old motherboard gave up the ghost, just when I needed it most! Sadly, its socket is now obsolete, meaning a full hardware overhaul. Talk about pairing a lemon with a lemon!
Following the hardware fiasco, I encountered a mini-nightmare when setting up the Stars client on the new Windows install. Two whole days down the drain, just to get things running smoothly – all I managed to play were a couple of games on Monday and Tuesday.
But all's well that ends well – I kissed Monday goodbye and hit the jackpot on Tuesday! Here's the breakdown:
Haven't shared my poker journey for a while, mainly because, well, there hasn't been much to share until recently. Patience paid off, as I nabbed a couple of top 1000$ finishes, which has boosted my overall earnings this month, keeping it steadily above zero.
