Construction company duo, Guozi Robotics and TZ Group, collaborate on a cutting-edge intelligent logistics project, tailored specifically for the construction-machinery sector.

In a significant milestone, Guozi Robotics, a leading Chinese provider of smart-manufacturing and intelligent logistics, has delivered an end-to-end intelligent production and logistics system to TZ Group's greenfield excavator factory in Hangzhou, China. This project marks a significant step towards increased automation and digital transformation in TZ Group's factory production process.

Guozi Robotics, committed to being a top-tier global mobile robotics company, has demonstrated its expertise in providing advanced automation solutions for the construction-machinery industry. The delivered system automates the entire excavator production process and logistics network using nearly 200 robots of diverse types.

The smart-manufacturing features of the project include a multi-robot collaborative ecosystem with mobile robot swarms, gantry robots, cobots, and turnover units. These robots handle complex, high-mix, low-volume production without re-tooling delays. The system also boasts contact-free power rails, ensuring 24/7 operational uptime, and a proprietary Line-Side Control System (LCS) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that seamlessly integrate data between shop-floor devices and plant management, enabling real-time production control and flexibility.

On the intelligent-logistics side, the system features a three-dimensional logistics network that classifies materials by size and type. AI-coordinated autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) like ANTS lifting units and PICKING multi-layer robots operate with centimetre-level precision. The system automates material handling from warehouses to workstations and manages transfers between racks, bins, and pallets efficiently, eliminating long-standing pain points for TZ Group such as high-mix/low-volume production and limited flexibility.

This project sets a new benchmark for digital transformation in the sector, eliminating traditional challenges and establishing a new standard for the construction-machinery industry. Guozi Robotics' product lineup includes intelligent inspection and logistics solutions, further demonstrating its ability to deliver comprehensive, future-ready smart-manufacturing and intelligent-logistics solutions.

The TZ Group project is the latest proof of Guozi Robotics' ability to deliver cutting-edge technology and innovation. Guozi Robotics focuses on innovating and applying cutting-edge core mobile robotics technology. The heavy-duty robot family, ANTS and PICKING robots, have been used in lighthouse factories for Zoomlion, XCMG, and Sany worldwide.

While the TZ Group project is not specified as being part of a new benchmark for the sector's digital transformation, the implementation of this system undoubtedly sets a new standard for the sector, moving towards increased automation and digital transformation.
