Cotswolds Distillery Unveils Rare Wychwood Harvest Single Malt
Cotswolds Distillery, the leading English whisky producer, has unveiled a new limited edition single malt, the Cotswolds Wychwood Harvest Single Malt Whisky. Only 1,500 bottles are available, each presented in bespoke packaging designed by local artist Andrea Bates, featuring rural Oxfordshire landscapes. It's priced at £100 per bottle and can be purchased through the distillery and select global retailers.
The whisky, named after the historic Wychwood Forest, is a tribute to Port cask maturation. It was crafted from a rare parcel of Port and Bourbon casks laid down nearly 10 years ago. Alice Pearson, a 25-year-old female distiller, led the cask selection and played a central role in shaping this 2025 release. The spirit boasts a deep red hue and fruit-forward profile, reflecting its Port cask origins. It's bottled at 50% ABV.
The presentation tube design for this limited edition whisky was created by Oxfordshire-based artist Andrea Bates. The distillery has sold previous limited editions quickly, so whisky enthusiasts are advised to secure their bottles promptly.
The Cotswolds Wychwood Harvest Single Malt Whisky is a celebration of the distillery's craftsmanship and commitment to Port cask maturation. With its unique flavour profile, striking packaging, and limited availability, it's set to be a sought-after addition to any whisky collection. Fans of the distillery and Port cask whiskies alike should act quickly to secure a bottle.
