Dubai's WETEX 2023: Global Showcase for Clean Energy & Sustainability
Dubai is set to host the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 30 September to 2 October. The event, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), will showcase advancements in clean energy, water, and sustainability. It will be held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
Spanning 95,000 square metres, WETEX 2023 will feature 3,100 companies from 68 countries. Eighteen international pavilions will be present, highlighting innovations in renewable energy and sustainable technologies. The exhibition will include dedicated zones such as the Green Mobility Zone and the Health and Safety Hub.
WETEX will provide a platform for business-to-business and business-to-government meetings, along with over 135 specialised seminars and panel discussions. Exhibitors will have the unique opportunity to tour DEWA's Sustainability and Innovation Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. This centre showcases Dubai's commitment to advancing renewable energy and sustainability.
The 27th edition of WETEX promises to be a significant event, bringing together global leaders in water, energy, and sustainability. It aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development, aligning with Dubai's vision for a greener future.
