Elevated Materials Bolsters Board with Battery Pioneer Dr. Soonho Ahn
Elevated Materials, a TPG Rise Climate portfolio company and spin-off from Applied Materials, has bolstered its technical leadership with the appointment of Dr. Soonho Ahn to its Board of Directors. Dr. Ahn, a globally recognised authority in battery science and engineering, brings over three decades of experience and 240 international patents to the company.
Dr. Ahn's impressive career spans executive roles at tech giants like Apple Inc., Samsung SDI, and LG Chem. He has been instrumental in developing foundational technologies for electric vehicles and consumer electronics. Most recently, he served as the CTO and Executive Board Member of PowerCo, Volkswagen Group's battery company.
