Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI), the undisputed boss of real-time operational intelligence, rocked the global gaming world with the launch of the QCI Enterprise Platform back in the day. But that was just the beginning. The party really started at G2E 2024 with the unveiling of AGI55, a game-changer that took AGI54's success and raised the stakes with the power of advanced artificial generative intelligence (AGI).

Andrew Cardno, QCI's CTO and co-founder, saw the potential in weaving AGI capabilities across the whole platform spectrum. And voila, AGI55 was born. This bad boy packs a powerful punch, armed with QCI Go, QCI Dispatch, QCI Player, QCI Slots, QCI Host, and an overhauled QCI Marketing Suite.

Needless to say, AGI55 is the most comprehensive operational platform in the industry, boasting over 3,000 new feature enhancements, including some patented goodies.

"I've been immersed in the math behind gaming databases for quite some time now," said Cardno, who flaunts the Gaming & Leisure Lifetime Achievement Award he earned at G2E 2024. This deep-dive led to a series of books he co-authored with fellow QCI co-founder Dr. Ralph Thomas, including the eleventh installment, "The Math That Gaming Made - Compendium," which delves into the mathematical foundations of the gaming universe. It's all about QCI's data-activation game, according to Cardno.

"Data activation is the lifeblood of player development teams," he insists. "QCI is all about understanding the casino floor experience from the guest's perspective, not just the performance of the products. We've got QCI Host, QCI Slots, and QCI Marketing to handle that."

Cardno is currently putting the finishing touches on his twelfth book, set to debut at the 2025 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention in San Diego, March 31 - April 3.

"We're excited as all get-out about Book 12," he declares. "We've revisited some old material, asked what exercises go with it, explored the latest tech developments, and even looked at how generative artificial intelligence impacts it. Essentially, we're refining and extending our body of work."

Cardno has earned himself a pair of Smithsonian Laureate for Heroism Information Technology Awards, including one for his work on heat mapping at Crown Casino in Australia. He realizes the breakneck speed of technological advancements and admits it can be a challenge expressing things in book form.

"The product is always outrunning the writing," he says. "Three years ago, it wasn't the case. But the big picture in terms of our roadmap and the evolution of our core products is that we have a massive base deployed in 17 countries and over 250 casinos, with 500+ sites globally. Our products are advancing at a rapid clip, so we're sinking our teeth into R&D to bring even more innovation to the table."

QCI got its first taste of generative AI in 2023 with their co-pilot. Cardno hints that another generative agent, powered by Open AI, is on the horizon—QCI Chatalytics. It's all about putting AI expertise like Cardno and Dr. Thomas's into a cognitive offload that functions just like a human analyst.

"It's the cognitive offload that changes everything in the software industry," Cardno elaborates. "Computers today can take on cognitive loads that only humans could handle three years ago. That means they can think for you. This cognitive offload revolutionizes everything I've been doing in the software world for 20 years. We're truly on the cutting edge."

  1. Andrew Cardno, in his upcoming book, plans to delve into the impact of generative artificial intelligence, a technology he believes QCI will soon incorporate into their products.
  2. QCI's new platform AGI55, under Cardno's leadership, includes advancements in their QCI Marketing Suite, which demonstrates their commitment to utilizing artificial intelligence for business innovation.
  3. Recognizing the ever-increasing pace of technology, co-founder Andrew Cardno acknowledges the challenges in documenting these advancements in traditional book form, as his explanations are often overtaken by the rapid progress of QCI's products.
Global pioneer Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) sent shockwaves through the worldwide gaming sector by introducing the QCI Enterprise Platform, revolutionizing real-time operational intelligence. The trajectory of success was further elevated at G2E 2024 with the launch of AGI55, an advancement building upon their previous achievements.
