Animal Crossing: New Horizons Aquarium Experience Expands Across the United States
The popular video game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, is taking a leap from the screen to the real world with a national tour of aquarium experiences. The tour, which kicked off in June, is making multiple stops across the United States, offering fans a unique blend of virtual game world and real-life marine education and entertainment.
Tour Dates and Locations
The tour has already made its way to the Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans, Louisiana, and will continue to various locations throughout the year. Upcoming stops include the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, the New England Aquarium in Boston, and Sea Life Aquarium Arizona in Tempe.
Engaging Activities
At each stop, visitors can expect themed aquarium exhibits inspired by the game’s aquatic creatures, interactive experiences themed around island adventures and aquatic life, and opportunities to explore real-world marine life connected to the game’s fish and sea creatures. There will also be photo ops and merchandise related to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Special Guests
On select days and stops, guests may have the opportunity to meet-and-greet beloved characters from the game, such as Isabelle, Tom Nook, or K.K. Slider.
Participating Aquariums
The tour has already visited the Audubon Aquarium and will be making stops at the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium in Australia, various UK locations concluding at Chessington: World of Adventures, Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, Oregon.
