FN Herstal Unveils Enhanced FN Reflex XL Pistol

FN Herstal has unveiled the FN Reflex Ixl, an enhanced version of their popular Reflex pistol, first introduced in 2020. The new model, launched in 2025, boasts improved ergonomics and texturing, making it more comfortable to shoot.

The FN Reflex Ixl is chambered in the widely-used 9 mm Luger and features a robust, cold-hammer-forged stainless steel barrel measuring 3.8 inches, a half-inch longer than its predecessor. It can accommodate a 15-round flush-fit magazine, with an 18-round extended magazine included.

The Ixl offers several upgrades over the original Reflex. It has interchangeable backstraps for a customisable grip, and a 5-lb trigger pull for precise shots. The pistol comes equipped with drift-adjustable steel sights, including a tritium-illuminated front sight for low-light conditions. The frame and slide sport a durable FDE (Flat Dark Earth) finish.

FN Herstal has priced the FN Reflex Ixl at an MSRP of $719. The pistol retains the original Reflex's single-action, internal-hammer-fired operating system and polymer frame.

The FN Reflex Ixl, with its improved ergonomics, longer barrel, and additional features, offers shooters a more versatile and comfortable shooting experience. Its competitive pricing and robust construction make it an attractive option in the 9 mm Luger market.
