Golden Dragon Unveils First Digital Pure Electric Bus, GC-15 Coach
Golden Dragon has made a splash at Busworld Europe with the unveiling of its first digital pure electric bus, the GC-15 Coach. The Chinese manufacturer showcased its latest innovations, including the new-generation Pivot Citybus and the Gecko Light Van.
The GC-15 Coach, a 15-metre-long, 2.5-metre-wide, and 3.8-metre-high vehicle, boasts an impressive range of 600km. It's powered by a permanent magnet synchronous water-cooled motor, delivering a peak power of 500 kW and peak torque of 4800 N.m. Upon full release, the bus will offer lengths from 8 to 12 metres and alternative powertrain options.
The GC-15 Coach features Matrix LED daytime running lights, flowing turn signals, and a full-width tail light. Inside, passengers can enjoy an 'intelligent armrest' that incorporates various control units and a central control system. The bus also comes equipped with Golden Dragon's ORO AI voice engine and an all-round smart temperature control system. With a luggage space of 10m³, it can accommodate 63 20-inch suitcases.
