Golf equipment manufacturer Titleist announces comeback of double major-winning golf ball to retail shops.
In a significant move for the golfing world, Titleist has announced that their Pro V1 Left Dot and Pro V1x Double Dot golf balls will be available for purchase starting September 23, 2025. The Pro V1 Left Dot ball, which has already racked up 30 PGA Tour titles and two Majors, is designed for high swing speed golfers seeking a lower and more penetrating flight, lower long game spin, and maintaining soft feel and spin control around the green. Notably, this ball has been the choice of champions such as Henrik Stenson at The 2016 Open Championship and Patrick Reed at the 2018 Masters. Bryson DeChambeau, another high-profile golfer, has also been seen using the Pro V1x Double Dot golf ball, which he used to win the 2024 US Open. DeChambeau reportedly gets less spin with this ball, and it flies around 20-30 feet lower than his previous ball, the Pro V1x. The Pro V1x Double Dot golf ball made its retail debut after success on the professional circuits, and it is also tailored for high swing speed golfers. Titleist is bringing back this ball, along with the Pro V1x Left Dash, on September 23rd in the US and Canada. Interestingly, the Pro V1 Left Dot balls sold out and listings appeared on websites like eBay shortly after their initial release, with individual golf balls being sold for $25 and a dozen for anywhere from $200 to $370. The price for a dozen Pro V1 Left Dot golf balls will be $55. A limit of two dozen per customer has been set for the Pro V1 Left Dot golf balls, and they will only be available in the US and Canada. The Pro V1x Left Dash golf ball has appeared in a new version on Tour recently, but its details have not been disclosed yet. This announcement is sure to excite golf enthusiasts, as these high-performance balls have proven their worth on the professional circuits. The Pro V1 Left Dot and Pro V1x Double Dot golf balls will be available for purchase starting September 23, 2025.
