New Releases at LVMH Watch Week 2025
In the world of luxury watchmaking, the annual LVMH Watch Week is a highly anticipated event. This year, nine prestigious brands unveiled their latest creations, showcasing their dedication to meticulous craftsmanship, elegant design, and technical perfection.
One of the standout launches was the Extra Plat Souscription by Daniel Roth. This ultra-thin, two-hand dress watch boasts a sleek and elegant profile, with a case thickness of just 7.7mm. Despite its slimness, the Extra Plat Souscription maintains the same length and width as Daniel Roth's Tourbillon models, making it a visually striking addition to the brand's collection.
The watch's dial is crafted from solid yellow gold and features an intricate clou de paris guilloche pattern, a labor-intensive decoration that can take nearly two days to complete. At the heart of the Extra Plat Rose Gold variant is the calibre DR002, a hand-finished, form-shaped movement meticulously designed to optimize every millimeter within the signature case shape.
The Extra Plat Souscription also offers a complete solution for collectors, including additional watch straps for added versatility. This attention to detail and focus on personalization is a testament to Daniel Roth's commitment to excellence in watchmaking.
Another exciting reveal was Bvlgari's new Serpenti Collection. The watches, now powered by the lightweight Lady Solotempo technology, weigh just five grams due to their curvilinear design. The collection includes the 'Lady Solotempo BVS100 Automatic' in-house, self-winding mechanical movement.
Meanwhile, TAG Heuer announced the Formula 1 Chronograph collection, featuring titanium cases and a micro-perforated aluminium tachymeter bezel. The brand also unveiled the special Oracle Red Bull Racing collaboration piece to commemorate their partnership with the F1 team since 2016.
The updated Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye collection was another highlight, with limited editions of 911 pieces in stainless steel and 11 pieces in 18K 3N yellow gold. These pieces are a tribute to the Porsche 911's first-ever rally debut at the 1965 Rallye Monte-Carlo.
