Herford Police Crack Down on E-Vehicles After Bünde Accident
Herford police conducted a targeted inspection of electric micro-vehicles on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The operation, led by the local police department, aimed to improve traffic safety following a serious e-scooter accident in Bünde the previous day.

During the inspection, officers checked 100 vehicles and found 60 violations. The police have warned that unexpected targeted inspections will continue to ensure safety on the roads.
