Huawei Unveils Atlas 900 SuperCluster for Massive AI Model Training
Huawei, at its Huawei Connect 2023 conference in Shanghai, unveiled the Atlas 900 SuperCluster, a powerful AI computing cluster designed for training massive AI foundation models. The company, led by deputy chairwoman Sabrina Meng, reiterated its commitment to openness and supporting the proliferation of large AI models.
The Atlas 900 SuperCluster, part of Huawei's Ascend product series, is optimized for AI training workloads. It boasts a computing power foundation capable of handling diverse AI computing needs, a crucial aspect in the era of intelligence. The cluster is equipped with Huawei's Xinghe Network CloudEngine XH16800 switch, ensuring efficient data processing.
Huawei has also upgraded its Ascend Computing Language (AscendCL) for more efficient AI model and application development.
