IK Multimedia has unveiled the Tonex Bass Signature Collection, a comprehensive library of bass tones that the company describes as 'the ultimate'. This new addition expands the Tonex amp modelling ecosystem to include 150 Tone Models specifically for bass guitar.
The Tonex Bass Signature Collection offers digital emulations of iconic bass amps from renowned brands such as Ampeg, Aguilar, Gallien-Krueger, and Marshall. This extensive collection covers a wide range of styles, from classic American tones to contemporary powerhouse sounds, and even includes modelled stompboxes. Users can enjoy this collection across the Tonex ecosystem, including on laptop, mini-pedals, and as standalone software in a DAW.
Both the Tonex Pedal Bass Edition and the Tonex ONE Bass Edition come bundled with licenses for various IK Multimedia software, such as AmpliTube 5 and AmpliTube SVX collections. The Pedal Bass Edition is priced at $/€429 with 150 presets, while the ONE Bass Edition is more affordable at $/€199 with 20 presets. The standalone software version of the Tonex Bass Signature Collection is also available for $/€99.
