Introducing ARDEX S 7 PLUS W: The Optimized Sealing Slurry from ARDEX GmbH
ARDEX GmbH, a renowned name in the construction industry, has unveiled a new product – the ARDEX S 7 PLUS W. This optimized sealing slurry is designed to offer enhanced waterproofing and sealing performance for various construction and tiling applications.
The ARDEX S 7 PLUS W has been developed with a focus on improving the product without compromising its proven quality and numerous application possibilities. According to Sina Neumann, Product Manager at Ardex, the product's popularity is due to its proven quality and versatility.
Key improvements and features of this product include:
- Optimized Formula for Superior Sealing: The slurry delivers improved adhesion and waterproofing performance on various substrates, ensuring durable protection against water ingress.
- User-friendly Application: The slurry is formulated for easy mixing and application, allowing efficient and consistent use on site.
- Enhanced Durability and Flexibility: It provides a reliable waterproofing barrier that accommodates minor substrate movements without cracking or losing integrity.
- Suitability for Multiple Environments: ARDEX S 7 PLUS W is suitable for wet areas such as pools, bathrooms, and balconies, ensuring effective protection in demanding conditions.
- Compatibility with Tile Installations: It is designed to work seamlessly under ceramics and natural stone, protecting tiles from moisture damage.
The new ARDEX S 7 PLUS W sealant also offers several other advantages. For instance, it can be applied with a trowel, roller, spatula, or spray gun, making it versatile for various application methods. Moreover, it can be used as an S2 adhesive, broadening its application possibilities.
One of the notable changes in the optimized version is the consistency, which can now be adjusted more easily. Additionally, the new ARDEX S 7 PLUS W sealant is white, making pencil or laser markings on the sealant more visible. This optimized version has also replaced the previous tubing film packaging with an aluminum-laminated paper bag.
The ARDEX S 7 PLUS W was released in August 2025 and is available as a replacement for ARDEX S 7 PLUS. The transition between the two products will be gradual, with both products offered in parallel for a period of time, expected to be completed by autumn.
ARDEX GmbH has released two new documents – ARDEX_S_7_PLUS_W.pdf (136 kB) and ARDEX_S_7_PLUS_W_Fotos.pdf (205 kB) – containing all press materials and photos for the product ARDEX S 7 PLUS W Flexible Sealing Slurry.
