Khabarovsk Krai Bolsters Forest Management with New Vehicles and Snowmobile Equipment
Khabarovsk Krai's Ministry of Forestry and Forest Processing has bolstered its fleet with the addition of six UAZ pickup trucks and nine LADA Niva Travel SUVs. The new vehicles will enhance forest management and protection across the region.
The six UAZ pickup trucks, known for their robustness and reliability, will serve multiple purposes. They will be used for patrolling vast forest territories, ensuring swift responses to law violations, and transporting personnel and equipment to remote locations. Meanwhile, the nine LADA Niva Travel SUVs, distributed to regional forestry departments, will strengthen control over the region's expansive forest masses. The distribution of these SUVs was coordinated by an unnamed official from the ministry.
In anticipation of the winter season, the department has also procured snowmobile equipment. This will enable foresters to navigate deep snow and access hard-to-reach areas, ensuring continuous protection and management of the region's forests throughout the year.
The Ministry of Forestry and Forest Processing's investment in these new vehicles and equipment demonstrates a commitment to enhancing forest management and protection in Khabarovsk Krai.
