Knorr-Bremse Unveils Electric EPS & All-Electric Steering at Busworld 2025

Knorr-Bremse, a leading global supplier of braking systems and other rail and commercial vehicle subsystems, will make a significant appearance at Busworld. The company will showcase its innovative modular SYNACT disc brake line, along with other cutting-edge technologies.

The event, held in Hall 11, Booth 1161, will feature Knorr-Bremse's new Electric Power Steering (EPS) system. This advanced technology aims to enhance road safety and ride comfort, while reducing energy and fuel consumption through its 'power-on-demand' design. The EPS also contributes to lower operating costs and overall CO2 emissions, aligning with EU CO2 targets.

In addition to the EPS, Knorr-Bremse will present its driver assistance systems, Fusion Front and Proximity ADAS. These systems are designed to improve safety and efficiency in bus operations.

Knorr-Bremse has also announced that it will unveil its new all-electric EPS steering system for buses at Busworld 2025, keeping pace with the industry's shift towards electric vehicles. This world premiere follows ZF's recent announcement of its own electric EPS steering systems for buses, set to debut at Busworld 2025.

Knorr-Bremse's participation at Busworld promises to be insightful and forward-thinking. The company will display its latest innovations in braking systems and steering technologies, demonstrating its commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the bus industry.
