Kockerling Unveils Gravo for Straw Management and Cover Crop Incorporation
Kockerling has unveiled the new Graco crop residue management system, designed for straw management and cover crop incorporation. The Graco features innovative cutter drums and optional equipment for enhanced performance.
The Graco boasts two counter-rotating cutter drums with a 350 mm diameter, arranged in small segments of 1.40 m or 1.60 m in an open design. This allows for cross-cut and optimal field contour adaptation. The drawn-mounted cutter drums provide optimal protection against stones and obstacles, increasing the machine's lifespan.
Optional equipment includes additional weight plates for clean cutting, a steerable front mounting bracket for maneuverability, and a triple following harrow for even distribution and accelerated germination. The Graco is also equipped with a reliable stone guard via a rubber mounting on the main frame.
Kockerling has also announced the Allrounder Profiline 1230 cultivator, featuring 55 or 75 tines distributed across four bars, achieving a spacer distance of just 16.5 cm for uniform and comprehensive processing up to a maximum depth of 14 cm. It offers hydraulic depth adjustment for adaptability during operation.
The Graco crop residue management system is initially available in working widths of 5.30 m and 6.10 m, with a transport width of 2.85 m, using eight rotors with six blades. It can be used in front or rear mounting, offering various deployment options. The Graco, developed by Graco Technologies, is designed to manage rape stubble, corn stubble, and incorporate cover crops, making it a versatile addition to farming equipment.
