Rooftop solar installations in India have witnessed a remarkable surge, with a 232% year-on-year increase in the first quarter of 2025, reaching over 1.2 GW. Meanwhile, Ksquare Energy, a leading clean energy provider, has set ambitious targets and expanded its footprint significantly since its inception in 2016.
Ksquare Energy, founded by Kuldip Sorathiya with just Rs 15,000, has grown into a 130-member company operating from warehouses in Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow, and Bengaluru. The company serves over 8,000 households and supplies to more than 650 EPC firms across 23 states. It offers a unique 5-Year Zero Loss Guarantee, ensuring client satisfaction. Ksquare Energy follows a dual-pronged business model, providing EPC services and manufacturing critical components in-house. The company has been profitable since its inception, posting Rs 74 crore in revenue for FY 2023-24 and targeting Rs 225 crore by FY 2025-26. Kuldip Sorathiya continues to lead the company's strategy, with his brother Kalpesh Sorathiya mentoring the team and Prakash Dobariya heading R&D. The company is open to raising strategic capital to expand fulfillment centers, enter new geographies, and scale product verticals.
In line with the national trend, Ksquare Energy aims to become a Rs 1,000 crore clean energy brand by 2030, empowering energy access and employment.
