AI Workshop Transforms Learning into Practice for Chartered Accountants in Kuwait
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC) hosted a three-day event from 29th to 31st August 2025, marking the first overseas AI-focused professional development program for Chartered Accountants (CAs). The workshop, held at the Safir Marina Hotel, welcomed over 50 CAs and demonstrated how technology can meet real-world problems head-on.
The event was conceptualized by CA Aditya Dhanuka, Special Invitee to AI in ICAI committee, in coordination with CA Umesh Sharma, Chairman & CA Dayaniwas Sharma, Vice Chairman, and Mr. Vishnu Garg, Secretary of the AI in ICAI Committee. The chairman of the AI in ICAI Committee, CA Sanjay Gupta, was actively involved in designing the AI certificate course for foreign auditors.
The program was led by expert faculty-CA Harpreet Singh and CA Amish Thakkar. They presented real-life business challenges solved through AI, turning learning into practice. The workshop reinforced the pivotal role that CAs can and will play in driving digital transformation across Kuwait's corporate landscape.
The event was opened with a welcome address by CA Rohit Agarwal. CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, delivered a virtual address emphasizing AI's role in reshaping finance and accountancy worldwide.
