LG's 4th Gen WOLED Panel Now Available in Gigabyte's MO27Q28G Monitor
LG's latest 4th generation WOLED panel is now available, boasting enhanced brightness and improved text clarity. Gigabyte has introduced the MO27Q28G, one of the first 27-inch WQHD monitors featuring this cutting-edge technology, priced at around 519 euros.
The new LG panel offers peak brightness up to 1,500 cd/m2 for small areas and full white at around 335 cd/m2, making it brighter than its predecessors. It uses a RGWB subpixel layout, promising sharper text representation. The MO27Q28G monitor from Gigabyte features this panel, along with a 280 Hz refresh rate.
The monitor sits on a versatile stand with height adjustment, tilt, pivot, and swivel functions. It covers 99.5% DCI-P3 and 84.5% Rec 2020 color gamut with 10-bit color depth and Delta-E <2. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt-Mode and USB Power Delivery, and additional USB-C and USB-A ports. It also includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, two 5W speakers, and a KVM switch for multitasking.
