The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) has unveiled a new real-time data dashboard, designed to provide customers with up-to-the-minute information on wait times, average visit durations, available services, branch operating hours, and historical wait time data for up to the past 30 days. This innovative tool is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices and covers all 24 MVA branches statewide [1][2][3][4][5].

The MVA Administrator, Chrissy Nizer, emphasised that the new dashboard empowers Marylanders to make informed decisions and significantly improves accessibility to MVA services. The dashboard offers live wait times, average visit durations, and details about services offered at each location [1][2][3][4][5].

The MVA continues to operate on an appointment-only basis, and the new dashboard is part of its push to enhance the customer experience by improving transparency and access to essential information. Some of the key features of the dashboard include real-time wait times for all MVA branches, average visit times per location and appointment type, service availability by branch, operating hours and branch addresses, a count of registered electric vehicles in Maryland, and historical wait time data from the past 30 days [1][2][3][4][5].

The MVA maintains 24 full and limited-service branches statewide, and the new dashboard is available through the MVA's website at www.MVA.maryland.gov. Officials say that the dashboard is optimised for both desktop and mobile devices [1][2][3][4][5].
