Maximus Secures $62M Pennsylvania Contract, Expanding Health Services
Maximus, Inc. (NYSE:MMS) has secured a five-year, $62M contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. The agreement expands the company's role in the Pennsylvania Enrollment Assistance Program, which it has supported since 2009.
Under the new contract, Maximus will continue and expand its services to include recipients of the Children's Health Insurance Program. The company will enhance its digital marketing tools, offering 24/7 web chat, text messaging, and email notifications. Additionally, Maximus will implement an AI-based training tool to improve the quality of service provided by customer service agents.
Maximus will ensure that its digital marketing tools comply with accessibility standards. Agents will assist residents with health plan selection, primary care physician choice, and plan management via the contact center.
The five-year contract, worth $62M, demonstrates the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services' confidence in Maximus' capabilities. By expanding its services and enhancing digital marketing tools, Maximus aims to provide more accessible and efficient assistance to Pennsylvania residents.
