Microsoft Revamps Bing Places for Business with Streamlined Listings Management
Microsoft has revamped its Bing Places for Business platform, introducing streamlined workflows and new tools for businesses with multiple locations. The update aims to enhance listing management and improve user experience on Bing Maps.
The redesigned platform, now accessible at bing.com/forbusiness, has been rebuilt following user feedback about discoverability and usability. It offers a new Recommendation Tool that suggests specific additions to listing health, such as photos and links, to help businesses make the most of their presence on Bing Search and Bing Maps.
Current Bing Places users are being automatically migrated to the new experience. Microsoft plans to roll out deeper integrations with Bing Maps and Copilot in the coming months, further enhancing the platform's capabilities on the map.
Business listing management has been simplified with improved Google import flows that preserve key attributes and offer efficient management features. Businesses can create and manage listings across Bing Search and Bing Maps at no cost.
The redeveloped Bing Places for Business platform, with its streamlined import workflows and new Recommendation Tool, is set to improve how businesses manage their listings on Bing Maps. With planned integrations with Bing Maps and Copilot, Microsoft continues to enhance the platform's functionality, supporting advanced features that were not possible with the old platform.
