Mystery Drones Buzz Gifhorn at High Speeds
Gifhorn residents were left bewildered on Thursday evening as multiple drones were spotted in the skies. The 'Bild' newspaper reported sightings of three drones flying in formation at high speeds and altitudes.
Witnesses described the drones moving at up to 100 kilometers per hour and flying at around 100 meters altitude. A report from the municipality of Meine around 9 PM further corroborates these sightings. However, the exact number of drones and their route remain unclear.
The Gifhorn police are currently investigating these incidents. The Federal Police, who maintain a flying squadron in the area, are also involved. Despite their efforts, no conclusive findings or updates have been made public regarding the identification or origin of these drone flights.
The unusual drone activity in Gifhorn has raised concerns among locals and authorities alike. While investigations continue, the public is advised to remain vigilant and report any further sightings to the local police.
