Netflix is set to produce more interactive content, following the success of the Black Mirror episode Bandersnatch. This announcement was made by Todd Yellin, Netflix VP of product, at the FICCI-Frames media and entertainment conference in Mumbai.

Bandersnatch, a choose-your-own-adventure style episode, was released in December 2018 and has been a hit in India and worldwide. The lead character in this episode attempts to create and launch a video game in the mid-80s, a concept inspired by choose-your-own-adventure novels.

Todd Yellin stated that interactive storytelling is something Netflix wants to focus more on.
