New hiring announcement: Antje Beyer assumes the role of Key Account Manager at VIDI
Antje Beyer, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and broadcast industry, has joined VIDI as Key Account Manager, effective from August 1, 2025.
Prior to her appointment at VIDI, Beyer spent 23 years as Key Account Manager at Media Broadcast. Her past professional experience also includes working in sales at Deutsche Telekom, T-Systems, and Media Broadcast.
Jürgen Jahn, Managing Director of VIDI, praised Beyer's expertise, reputation, and industry network as key factors in her appointment. He expressed confidence that Beyer's appointment will significantly contribute to VIDI's growth in the DACH region.
Beyer has expressed enthusiasm for her new role at VIDI, aiming to deepen partnerships, open new business areas, and strengthen VIDI's market presence. Her focus areas at VIDI include VIDI Network Management Software (NMS), events, and national fixed networks. Target customers for Beyer's work at VIDI include public and commercial broadcasters, production companies, authorities, and ministries.
In a significant move, VIDI will showcase the integration of Appear's X10 and X20 chassis into its Network Management System (VIDI NMS) at this year's IBC in Amsterdam. The demonstration will feature a multi-vendor setup, being monitored and controlled end-to-end through the VIDI NMS.
The agreement connecting 23 racecourses across the UK to RaceTech's remote production hub at Raynes, and VIDI's partnership with UK broadcast delivery provider BMC TV to manage and control its nationwide video contribution and broadcast network, were also announced at IBC 2025.
Notably, the new staging of Richard Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde" was mixed in Dolby Atmos for the first time in classical music. This new staging premiered at the Bayreuth Festival on 25 July 2024 under the musical direction of Semyon Bychkov.
Beyer has shown a clear vision for new services and an understanding of customer needs, which are seen as assets for her key position at VIDI. With her extensive industry experience and strategic insights, Beyer is poised to lead VIDI's growth and expansion in the DACH region and beyond.
