Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
Sporting a 6.7-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display (2640 x 1080 pixels), the Galaxy Z Flip 5 also boasts a cover display of 3.4-inches Super AMOLED 60Hz display. It operates on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, paired with up to 8GB RAM and a generous 512GB storage. The smartphone packs a decent 3700mAh battery, and it supports wireless charging. The camera setup consists of a triple camera setup on the rear- 12-megapixel primary, paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel front camera. Samsung has priced the Galaxy Z Flip 5 at an attractive starting price of $999 (approx. ₹80,000).
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
Featuring a 7.6-inch QXGA Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display (2176 x 1812 pixels) that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 also sports a cover display with a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display that offers 120Hz refresh rate as well. Powered by a customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 12GB RAM, it comes with a massive 1TB storage. The smartphone sports a large 4500mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging support, and it also supports wireless charging.
The camera setup includes a combination of 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 10-megapixel depth sensor on the back. On the front, there's a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the cover display, and a 4-megapixel under display camera on the main display. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 5 at a starting price of $1,799 (approx. ₹1,50,000).
Both the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 showcase fresh designs and will be available for purchase on 11 August in select countries, with Indian prices to be revealed soon. Both smartphones run on OneUI 5.1.1 skin that is based on Android 13 operating system.
