Patek Philippe Revives Cubitus Collection After 27 Years
Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe has introduced a new men's watch collection, the Cubitus, after a 27-year hiatus. The Cubitus collection replaces the discontinued Nautilus 5711, a landmark watch for the brand in the modern era.
The Cubitus collection is not a limited edition. It consists of three references, each offering a unique blend of style and functionality. The classic three-hand version features a sleek design, while the blue dial version in a two-tone case adds a touch of elegance. The pièce de résistance is the Cubitus Grand Date, which boasts a large date window, a moonphase indicator, and a running seconds display. This model is powered by the Calibre 240 PS CI J LU automatic movement.
The Cubitus watches are generously sized, with diameters of 44.5mm and case thicknesses ranging from 8.3mm to 9.6mm, depending on the model. Prices for the collection range from $41,240 to $88,380.
The Cubitus collection marks a significant addition to Patek Philippe's portfolio, offering a blend of tradition and innovation. With its diverse range of models and competitive pricing, the collection is set to make a splash in the world of horology.
