Personal Network Boost: Achieving 250 Mbit/s Wirelessly, as Per Spangenberg

In a recent announcement, Deutsche Telekom AG has expanded its network in the city of Spangenberg, providing residents with faster internet speeds. The move comes as part of the company's ongoing efforts to improve digital connectivity across Germany.

Julia della Peruta, the corporate spokesperson for Deutsche Telekom, emphasised the importance of high-speed WLAN operation at home. She stated that faster internet speeds are crucial for smooth digital learning, working, streaming, and gaming experiences.

The expansion has resulted in an increase in the maximum download speed in Spangenberg to a impressive 250 Mbit/s. This is a significant jump from the previous speed of 10 Mbit/s. The upload speed in the city has also seen an improvement, now standing at 40 Mbit/s, up from 10 Mbit/s.

As a result of this expansion, around 400 households in Spangenberg now have access to the new faster internet connection. Interested customers can book this new speed online, by phone on 0800 330 3000, 0800 330 1000, or 0800 330 1300, or in person at local stores.

For those who prefer online booking, the website www.telekom.de/faster is available. The website provides all the necessary information and a straightforward process for booking the new speed.

In addition to the installation of new system technology in gray boxes at the side of the roads in Spangenberg, Deutsche Telekom AG recently began offering 250 Mbit/s download speeds in local WLAN networks in the city of Helmstadt-Bargen in 2025.

This development marks a significant step forward in Deutsche Telekom's mission to provide faster and more reliable internet connections to homes and businesses across Germany. With the increased speeds, customers in Spangenberg can now enjoy smoother digital experiences, whether they are working from home, learning online, streaming their favourite shows, or gaming with friends.
