Play Solana Unveils SuperHUB: The World's First Blockchain Gaming Console
Play Solana, a pioneering web3 gaming platform, has introduced SuperHUB, a revolutionary blend of blockchain, DeFi tools, and hardware. The platform aims to make gaming more engaging and rewarding for both casual players and blockchain enthusiasts.
SuperHUB's flagship product, the PSG1 console, serves as both a gaming device and a blockchain wallet. Running on EchOS, an Android-based system designed for gaming, the PSG1 boasts high-end specifications. It integrates with Jupiter Mobile Wallet, providing direct access to DeFi features within the console.
Priced at $329 (or $349 for special editions), the PSG1 console will ship shortly after launch. SuperHUB offers a unified library of games, including native titles and third-party games, with flagship titles introducing blockchain mechanics naturally. The platform's cross-platform identity system, PlayID, connects user profiles, in-game rewards, and reputations across devices.
Play Solana has partnered with web3 brands like Pudgy Penguins to bring unique co-branded experiences. However, there is no public information about companies or individuals involved in creative partnerships with Play Solana to produce limited hardware and events for the shared culture of players.
SuperHUB's PSG1 console is set to transform web3 gaming, merging the worlds of blockchain, DeFi, and hardware. With a launch date and pricing announced, early adopters can look forward to rewards, including PlayBadges and XP points, through the upcoming $PLAY token launch on October 13.
