PM Modi Inaugurates Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, Showcases India's Global Ambitions

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 (UPITS-2025) in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The event, themed 'Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here', anticipates 1.25 lakh B2B visitors and 4.5 lakh B2C participants, presenting robust opportunities for exporters, small businesses, and consumers alike.

PM Modi praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Uttar Pradesh government for transforming the state into a hub of trade, industry, and innovation. He highlighted government initiatives like PM SVANidhi and GeM that have empowered small businesses and street vendors. The event features over 2,400 exhibitors across various sectors, showcasing India's ambition to become self-reliant while expanding the global footprint of Made in India products.

The Prime Minister drew attention to India's fintech success story, including platforms like UPI, Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and ONDC. He emphasized structural reforms that have simplified doing business in India, with over 40,000 compliances eliminated. Modi encouraged investors to leverage Uttar Pradesh's MSME ecosystem to produce complete products within the state. The idea to select Russia as the partner country for the event was made by the organizers, likely involving government officials from Uttar Pradesh and trade authorities.

PM Modi emphasized that self-reliance does not mean isolationism, but enhances India's competitiveness globally. With the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, India aims to strengthen its position as a global trading partner, offering vast opportunities for businesses and consumers alike.
