Telewizja Polska Takes Second Place in Poland's Video Streaming Market

According to the latest All Screens Video Landscape Report for Poland, published by Nielsen on April 4, 2025, Telewizja Polska has overtaken the Polsat Group and now holds the second spot in the video streaming market. The leader, Warner Bros Discovery, maintains its position at the top with a share of 18.45 per cent.

The report, which covers viewing from four screens: TVs, PC/laptops, smartphones, and tablets, shows that TV remains the primary screen for video viewing in Poland. The Meta group, known for its social media and technology services, has moved up to seventh place in the ranking, ahead of Netflix and SPI.

The Meta group's progress in the video streaming market is noteworthy, as it has managed to secure a position above some of the more established players. The leader of Telewizja Polska, who was ranked second in the report, was not explicitly named in the search results provided.

The Polsat Group, which previously held the second spot, has seen a slight decline in its share, falling by 0.4 percentage points to 17.63 per cent. Netflix, on the other hand, experienced an increase of one percentage point in its share of the TV screen in Poland. However, this growth was not enough to regain its lost ground.

Canal+, another major player in the Polish video streaming market, is in tenth place in the ranking with an almost 2 per cent share. There was a slight decrease in the share of TV for Google, but the exact figures were not provided in the report.

In conclusion, the Polish video streaming market is witnessing a shift in the rankings, with Telewizja Polska and the Meta group making significant strides. The report serves as a valuable resource for understanding the current state of the video streaming market in Poland and the trends that are shaping its future.
