Private venture, Snooplay, a toy marketplace operating in Noida, secures Rs 8 crore in funding, with Pravek Family Office serving as the chief investor.

In a bid to transform the way toys are bought and used in India, Snooplay, a toy-tech startup based in Noida, has successfully raised Rs 8 crore in a pre-Series A1 funding round. The funding round was led by Pravek Family Office and participated by a group of strategic angel investors.

Founded in 2019 by Aanchal Mahajan and Brij Raj Singh, Snooplay believes that toys are tools for shaping imagination, skills, and emotions. The startup aims to fix the current cluttered toy-buying situation with AI, empathy, and real data.

The funds raised will be used for the nationwide rollout of new tech-products, building India's most comprehensive Toy Intelligence Database, expanding the buyback program, strengthening private label offerings, and enhancing technology, logistics, and operational backbone.

Snooplay's app aims to provide a smarter way to play with no clutter or guilt. Aanchal Mahajan, Co-founder of Snooplay, stated that the app aims to help users discover and buy the right toy when needed and trade it in for store credits once outgrown.

The startup has evolved from a curated toy marketplace to a full-stack tech-enabled ecosystem designed to enhance toy discovery and introduce a toy-buyback mechanism. Snooplay claims to have over 35,000 toys from 600+ brands, serving a growing community of Indian parents, collectors, and gift-givers.

Snooplay's founders believe that Indian parents are seeking toys that offer developmental value, support sustainable choices, and reflect conscious, purpose-driven buying. The company is committed to meeting these evolving aspirations by creating a smarter, more responsible play ecosystem.

In addition, Snooplay plans to collaborate with NGOs to expand its buyback program, encouraging sustainable toy donations and conscious consumption. The Toy Intelligence Database will map thousands of toys to developmental skills, moods, play types, and learning goals.

Snooplay also intends to strengthen its presence across modern retail outlets, e-commerce marketplaces, and curated gifting verticals. The startup aims to change the way toys are bought and used in India, addressing the issue of clutter and random toy-buying.

The leaders of the financing round at Snooplay, led by Pravek Family Office, remain undisclosed. Snooplay, redefining play in India through its AI-powered platform, is poised to revolutionize the toy industry with its innovative approach and commitment to a responsible play ecosystem.
