Ah, the victorious Expedition 33 is currently basking in the limelight post- million-strong sale and stellar Steam ratings – it's bloody fantastic to see an indie studio like Sandfall Interactive making a killing. I, for one, didn't think much of it at first, but a breathtaking 60-hour JRPG experience later, I can't help but crave more.

It seems my hunger might just be sated, thanks to the delightful confessions of lead writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen. During an Instagram Q&A that went viral (thank you, Vice), she hinted that future DLC is possible – or in her own words, it's more than "never-say-never."

When inundated with curiosity from eager players, Svedberg-Yen openly acknowledged the team's busy post-launch schedule, yet she subtly implied that the legendary beast of player demand might be enough to pounce on Sandfall Interactive's heart, breathing new life into the game world.

"It's been a lot to take in! We've always said if there is strong desire from the players, we'd love to do something more, and based on the response so far, I'd say chances are good."

For now, it appears the development team is wrestling with the repercussions of their own tremendous success, trying to figure out which path to explore next. If there's one thing I know, it's that I'm dead set on following wherever this ride takes me.
