Q-Free's Kinetic CV Boosts Connected Vehicle Management in Coachella Valley
Q-Free has introduced Kinetic CV, a new module for its Kinetic Mobility advanced traffic management system, set to bolster connected vehicle management in the Coachella Valley. This addition, integrated into CVAG's existing Center-to-Center (C2C) deployment, will enhance the region's connected vehicle management capabilities.
Kinetic CV, a significant achievement, integrates connected vehicle management into a single unified ATMS platform. This allows for proactive maintenance of connected vehicle systems, enhancing their reliability and efficiency. The module enables transportation agencies, such as CVAG, to optimize traffic management by providing real-time insights into the operational status of roadside units (RSUs).
Recently deployed in California's Coachella Valley as part of the CV Sync project, Kinetic CV is monitored by Stephen Brown, CVAG's Transportation Director. The module allows users to monitor the status of roadside devices for connected vehicles within their ATMS, ensuring optimal performance.
Kinetic CV's addition to CVAG's C2C deployment will enhance connected vehicle management in the Coachella Valley. By integrating connected vehicle management into a single platform and enabling real-time monitoring, Kinetic CV will improve traffic management efficiency and reliability, supporting CVAG's ongoing connected vehicle technology integration efforts.
