In the bustling city of Beijing, the 2010 Auto Show played host to a range of innovative vehicles, one of which was the BYD E6, a pure electric MPV.

The BYD E6, with its sleek dimensions of 4554mmx1822mmx1630mm and a wheelbase of 2830mm, made quite an impression. This electric vehicle boasts an impressive driving range of up to 300 km on a single charge, making it a strong contender in the electric car market.

The BYD E6 is not just about range and size; it also offers a swift driving experience. With a top speed of 160 km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km in just 10 seconds, the E6 is a force to be reckoned with on the road.

Charging the E6 is a breeze, thanks to its compatibility with '3C' full-powered charging stations. A 15-minute charge at such a station can get the E6 up to 80% battery capacity.

BYD also took the opportunity at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show to unveil the 2026 Seal 07 DM-i, a plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with the "God's Eye B" integration system. The official starting price for this vehicle is set at 54,200 USD.

In addition to these vehicles, BYD also showcased the Yangwang U9 02 test car, a powerful electric car reported to have nearly 3000 hp.

While the price of the BYD E6 is yet to be announced, it is expected to start around 250,000 rmb. The E6 also includes a taxi model from a pilot project in Shenzhen, further demonstrating its versatility.

BYD, a leading manufacturer of electric cars, continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the automotive industry, making strides towards a more sustainable future.
